Moving In

Can I send parcels to Beit Hall before moving in?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept parcels before moving in and will return them to their sender if they are sent here. The one exception to this rule is that we do accept parcels from Unikitout (see here for details), so long as they are delivered from the 3rd of October.

What are the COVID-19 procedures for halls?

What if I need to self isolate or develop symptoms of COVID-19?

Please follow the current procedure for self-isolating in halls, which can be found here.

What if I arrive earlier than the designated move in day?

Unfortunately, you cannot move in to Beit Hall before the designated move in day. However, there are other halls who can provide temporary accommodation to early arrivals. Contact the accommodation office for more information.

Does Beit Hall have WiFi?

WiFi is available everywhere on the premises: bedrooms, kitchens, common rooms, etc. Additionally, there are Ethernet ports in all bedrooms.

What am I supposed to do about bedding?

If you cannot bring bedding with you, then there are several easy options. Imperial College recommends that you order some through UniKitOut (see here for details) prior to your arrival. If you do not find this option suitable, there are several stores from which you can buy bedding that can be reached via walking or public transit. These can be found on our Local Information page.

What is eBeit?

eBeit is a helpful online platform that you will need to register on in order to get your room. Throughout the year you will also be able to use it to register any defects and welfare concerns you might have.

Who is my roommate?

All rooms will be single occupancy for the academic year 2020/21.

Is there a way I can get in touch with my fellow Beit Hall residents before arrival?

The best way to get in touch with your fellow Beit Hall residents is to go to the official Facebook page!

When and how will I be invoiced for my accommodation?

Registry will send you an invoice. Your first payment should be due shortly before your arrival.

Will there be events at Beit Hall during orientation week?

Beit Hall has a load of great events throughout orientation week!! An events schedule will be provided upon your arrival.
